There is nothing more exciting when the owner of the company MP Hotels / FTI Group will ask you for a concept for a tourist destination in Turkey and will ask to receive it from you.
I had never made a destination concept before. For a start, I had nothing on the table. Nor any sales proposal. The only thing I understood is that our company has three hotels there, we want to make this destination a top sensation…
Well… branding, research, e-commerce, transport, and 1000 other important points.
I just started thinking like B to C but later B to B. I did research and I started doing the branding from scratch first. I flew to the cute town of Alacati in Turkey and made a concrete plan of places to visit. I took photos, gathered the most important information, and in three days headed to my office in Munich.
I did not have any support team, but I knew this was a creative and sales proposal that my boss wanted to propose to management as a startup proposal.
The project was fantastically accepted as a brand shaping but also as a concept for business development.
