Introduction
This page presents a selection of illustration projects developed for animation, interactive platforms, and visual communication.
My approach combines visual research, conceptual thinking, and an understanding of each project's purpose and audience. With a background in Painting and New Media, I combine traditional drawing techniques with digital illustration and animation workflows to develop visual solutions tailored to different contexts and needs.

Project Description
As Senior Art Director at goldenebotschaft GmbH, I worked on AFC’s rebranding and corporate identity. As part of the project, I redesigned a series of illustrated process diagrams to improve their clarity, consistency, and visual quality.
The process began with pencil sketches, allowing the client to review and approve the visual concepts before they were translated into vector illustrations in Adobe Illustrator.

Team: Aleksandar Spasoski, Saba Bussmann
Scope: Art direction, workflow development, vector illustration, and animation assets.

Scope: Art direction, workflow development, vector illustration, and animation assets.
Project Description
I was invited by PMMG to help bring an e-learning project to completion under tight time and resource constraints.
The company had already begun developing characters for animation but needed a workable production process, an appropriate visual environment, and a structured approach to preparing the assets for animation.
I developed a production roadmap, organised the workflow, and created the illustrations and animation assets required for the project. The illustrations were produced as vector graphics in Adobe Illustrator and prepared in separate layers to support their subsequent use in animation software.
The client requested a black-and-white visual style. In addition to the visual execution, particular attention was given to the didactic requirements and interactive elements of the e-learning experience.
The project combined visual problem-solving, production planning, and illustration within a clearly defined educational context.

Team: Aleksandar Spasoski, goldenebotschaft GmbH
Scope: Art direction, visual concept development, moodboards, and digital illustration.
Project Description
Uchronia was an interactive seasonal web platform built around storytelling and the concept of time. It explored changes in fashion and culture across different decades, inviting users to identify historical periods through interactive clothing combinations.
For this project, I developed a visual approach combining moodboards and vector illustrations. The imagery supported the platform’s storytelling and helped create an engaging connection between the brand and its audience.

Role: Senior Art Director — Aleksandar Spasoski
Scope: Illustration, ideation, and development of a digital shopping mall concept.
Project Description
This project explored the concept of a virtual shopping mall as an interactive online shopping environment. The illustrations visualised a digital space where users could browse stores, explore products, and select different colours and sizes.
The visual concept was developed to present the proposed experience to potential investors, providing a basis for the subsequent development of the user experience and interface design.

Team: Aleksandar Spasoski, Saba Bussmann
Scope: Historical illustration, visual research, and illustration assets for animation.
Project Description
This interactive educational DVD project was developed to help schools teach the history of Israel through visual storytelling.
Together with my colleague, I researched historical and biblical references and explored visual styles suited to the subject and educational context. The illustrations were initially drawn by hand, then digitised and refined in Adobe Photoshop.
The final artwork was prepared for animation in Adobe After Effects, transforming the illustrations into sequences for the educational programme.

Team: Aleksandar Spasoski, goldenebotschaft GmbH
Scope: Digital illustration and image development.
Project Description
This project involved creating poster-style illustrations of MAN recreational vehicles.
The visual approach combined photographic source material with vector graphics developed in Adobe Illustrator. By transforming selected photographic elements and integrating them with graphic shapes, I created a series of stylised illustrations that retained the recognisable character of the original vehicles while introducing a more expressive, poster-like aesthetic.

Scope: Illustration, AI-assisted image development, and animation.
Project Description
For a 2026 production connected with the ZDF crime-documentary series XY: Spuren des Verbrechens, selected sequences were reconstructed through illustration and animation.
Together with my colleague, I developed visual material for more than eight episodes. The workflow combined AI-assisted image generation in Midjourney with further editing and refinement in Adobe Photoshop.
The project explored how generative tools and digital illustration could be combined to create visual reconstructions suited to the narrative and production requirements of television.
